That’s why Shapeheart has designed, patented and delivered the first armband with a magnetic case.   A new generation of armbands is emerging: armbands that allow people to access their smartphone at all time. But among the few mechanical systems on the market, Shapeheart is the only one to provide a magnetic system that has two main competitive edges: ·         First of all: the system is really easy to use; you can access your smartphone while doing sport without having to learn a particular gesture ·         Secondly:   its magnetic case (removable & touchscreen) just simply adapts to all smartphone sizes and protects your phone Simultaneously to this first launch, Shapeheart has successfully financed its next generation product: the cardio version of its armband with magnetic case. This armband will add a heart rate sensor connected via Bluetooth to the smartphone. The crowdfunding campaign has ended with more than 60 000 euros to finance the production of more than 800 armbands, that will come along with preorders done by major distributors. This connected version will empower the smartphone by adding the one feature that is missing: heart rate. The goal is to provide an all in one tool that will allow the user to work out with its smartphone and enjoy all its benefits (sport app, music, GPS, phone call...) at an affordable price. Given the growing number of new tracking devices for sport, Shapeheart is the smart alternative to smartwatches, which are often too expensive and inaccurate, or to chest strap which are way too uncomfortable (especially for women). Shapeheart has been awarded during CES 2017 by Runner’s World Magazine as one of the top product that might change the running industry. Allow the user to use its smartphone During the 300 tests that Shapeheart has led with its community, the reaction to the magnet system has always been the same: it strongly holds your phone and is very intuitive to use. It can withstand 30 times the weight of a smartphone while being totally harmless to your phone. The magnetic case is available in 3 different sizes that cover the entire range of smartphone sizes from 4’’ to 6.2’’. Turning your smartphone into a real heart rate tracking device Shapeheart uses an optical heart rate sensor technology that directly tracks your heart rate on your arm. It’s integrated into a patented silicone holder and is actually far more accurate than most smartwatches (there is no ambient light and motion artefacts are lower on the arm) “After more than 100km in 6 sessions, we have the following results: heart rate tracking on the wrist has definitely an average delay of 1 minute to be fully operational while Shapeheart armband and chest strap are immediately functional […] performances of Shapeheart armband came up to the expectations” - (Jogging International Review) With a 35-hours battery life, the device is designed for long training sessions and has a mini USB port that you can use to charge the device. Shapeheart is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth and is compatible with all existing sport apps. You can also pair it simultaneously with Bluetooth earphones. Availability Shapeheart armband (w/o heart rate) is for now available in France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland at 49€ (44£) in more than 120 stores Shapeheart armband cardio is available for pre-order on Indiegogo at 79€, it will be available end-2017 at 99€ (89£). BONJOUR is finalizing its development and has already seduced innovation experts and fans: - CES award 2017 - Over $880,000 raised on Kickstarter and Indiegogo with 6,200 backers - Accorhotels Vivatech Award 2017 Holi, a French design and innovation company, is unveiling BONJOUR, a smart, IoT alarm that upgrades the morning wake-up routine. BONJOUR is an AI driven alarm clock that combines sleek and elegant design, with an intuitive, easy and interactive UI. Through precise voice activation technology, wireless internet connectivity, app integration, AI intuition, and an easy-toread display, BONJOUR enhances your morning wake-up routine to go beyond the snooze button. With BONJOUR, you can wake up to your local weather, your favorite Spotify music, or your unique Philips Hue lighting configuration, all with voicecontrol activation and feedback. You set the conditions to which all of these services perform and interact with each other each morning while BONJOUR interprets each app’s information. With natural-conversational AI technology BONJOUR speaks and plans for the day ahead with you. The company has launched a Kickstarter campaign on October 25, 2016 and BONJOUR is available in Indiegogo InDemand since December, the 5th, 2016. Imagine what it would be like to wake up with BONJOUR. You could hear your favorite song, adjust the temperature in your room, and gently turn the lights up, calmly welcoming you to your day. But it’s not just mornings that can be enhanced; BONJOUR is well suited to just lounging around in bed, or for right before you go to sleep. All that is required to waken the potential of the device is the word “OK BONJOUR” “OK BONJOUR, wake my up at 7:00 A.M with Madonna only if it’s sunny.” “OK BONJOUR, what is the traffic like on the way to work?” “OK BONJOUR, wake me up one hour before my first meeting.” “OK BONJOUR, lower the lights and the temperature in my bedroom.” “OK BONJOUR, wake me up at 6:00 A.M on Sunday if the weather is good. If not, let me sleep in.” BONJOUR knows not all mornings are created equal. There are sunny days, get-stuck-in-traffic days, breakfast-fordinner days, and Saturdays. BONJOUR wants you to be ready for whatever surprises the morning has, with conditional wake-up commands and predictive, conversational responses. BONJOUR fashioned the familiar “if this, then that” idea into easy-to-use, conditional voice-activated responses to help you have the perfect morning. You will hear BONJOUR say: “I see that it is a beautiful day outside, wear something cool.” “If you leave now, it will take you only 25 minutes to get to work.” “Your garage door seems to be open. Do you want to check the security camera?” “Today is completely free in your calendar, you can afford to sleep in” “You didn’t walk much today, do you want to wake up tomorrow for a run?” BONJOUR combines modern design, vocal interaction and visual messaging to bring you a reimagined morning experience. BONJOUR is available in black and white. “At Holi, we have dedicated ourselves to improving sleep around the world,” says Grégoire Gérard the Creative Chairman for BONJOUR. “With a combined 50 years of experience, we have taken all of what we know about sleep and applied it to the least favorite, but most important part: waking up. In France we say ‘Faire la grasse matinée’, or to have a fat morning, but of course like most things, it’s sexier in French. Connected devices and design are in our DNA and we put all of our expertise and vision into imagining new solutions for better sleep and a more pleasant morning.” BONJOUR’s crowdfunding campaign can be found here : https://www.holi.io/en/our solutions/bonjour-ai-smart-alarmclock About Holi: Holi, the company behind BONJOUR, is a start-up that has already grown-up. 15 French Tech start-ups head to IFA in Berlin

Laure Bidault des Chaumes - 10-juil.-2017 12:41:49
15 start-ups will be exhibiting their wares at the French Tech pavilion organised for the first time by Business France at the upcoming  IFA in Berlin. France is just one of two countries with a national pavilion at the fair, the other being the UK. This leading trade fair for connected devices, which last year welcomed 240,000 visitors and 1,800 exhibitors from around the world, will take place on 1st-6th September 2017. Selected from among 40 competing firms, you can meet 15 French IoT start-ups at stands 157a to 157q in hall 26a of of IFA NEXT , the new area devoted to start-ups and innovation. These French start-ups will be presenting highly varied product ranges in segments such as family tech, audio, smart homes, sport and accessories. Which French start-ups will be exhibiting at IFA?   FAMILY TECH: LUNII , MARBOTIC AUDIO: DIVACORE , PHONOTONIC SMART HOME: HOLI , BIXI , FENOTEK , UZER , SENSORWAKE SPORT: SHAPE HEART , VELCO ACCESSORIES: WISTIKI , XEE-LIOCITY     Savoir-faire for the future In the last few years, France has consolidated its status as a world leader in the connected devices sector, hot on the heels of the United States. This is in part thanks to its vibrant digital research environment including a host of innovation clusters:  Systematic (Paris),  CITC (Lille), IoT Valley (Toulouse) and  SCS (Nice). ‘ Cité de l’Objet Connecté ’ [IoT City] opened in Angers in June 2015 following €15 million of investment. In 2015, South Korean group Samsung opened a connected devices R&D centre in Paris. The structure of the IoT ecosystem is now taking shape and France is internationally recognized for its ability to launch technological innovations and find uses for the latter. For instance, one French Tech exhibitor, Sensorwake , previously won an Innovation Award at CES in 2016 and will be announcing an important partnership with a large group at this year’s IFA. Its CEO, 20-year-old Guillaume Rolland, first made headlines in 2014 when his olfactory alarm clock was nominated as one of the top 15 at the Google Science Fair. Another French Tech pavilion exhibitor,  Lunii launched their storytelling product for children at CES and since then thanks to crowdfunding, reached their target turnover within a year. They will be launching in the UK at IFA. "€4.5 billion worth of orders were secured at the 2016 edition of the fair” The above figure was duly noted by Foued Kéfif, who will be running the pavilion for Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy. “We gave priority to innovative companies that display genuine international development potential and which have the capacity to ramp up their commercial development so as to spark the interest of decision makers visiting IFA ,". He added, "retailers and buyers will head to the event to sniff out the innovations they will be including in their Christmas catalogues". Next stop, CES At the last CES in Las Vegas, although France had the third-largest international delegation (after the United States and China), it boasted the second-highest number of start-ups in attendance (200 at the 2017 CES), just behind the United States and a long way ahead of Israel, South Korea and China. These figures reflect the maturity of French Tech’s ecosystems, all driven by globally renowned talent, be it in the form of engineers, designers or mathematicians. It is also worth noting the record levels of funding raised in the sector: Devialet €100m (£88m), Sigfox €150m (£133m), Netatmo €35m (£31m), among others.
