Meet the Buyers event at Marshall Aerospace & Defence Group

On Wednesday 25 th  November, the Business France UK Industries & Cleantech team brought a delegation of 11 French SMEs working in the aerospace and defence sectors to meet with buyers at industry giant Marshall ADG’s headquarters in Cambridge. Prior to the event, Marshall ADG  and Business France selected French suppliers matching their specific procurement requirements. Throughout the process, Marshall ADG showed a strong interest in working with French companies, which was a decisive factor in making this event such a success. The day started with presentations by Business France, the Defence Equipment Attaché from the French Embassy in London and the Head of Procurement at Marshall ADG. This was followed by a guided tour of the land and aerospace divisions. Most importantly, the afternoon was dedicated to B2B meetings with buyers. According to early feedback from French attendees and Marshall’s buyers, the event was a success and a further example of French-British collaboration in these strategic sectors.
