Lucile COTELLE - 13/07/16

On the occasion of Futur en Seine and Viva Technology in June 2016, ASEAN leading telecom operators, the investment fund Innov8, the fintech accelerator The Finlab and the designer of Smart City Surbana Jurong came in Paris to meet French tech startups.

On the agenda, more than 30 B2B meetings were organized with firms in the sectors of IoT, Big Data, Smart Cities, M2M… The delegation of companies also visited ATOS and Orange centers of innovation and had the opportunity to meet the management of Lyon Smart City and exchange about key topics such as Smart City, IoT networks and cybersecurity. Lastly, The Finlab has met early stage and series A startups to accelerate them in Singapore.

Negotiations have started between the parties: many partnerships and contracts are about to emerge from these meetings.

This event has been successful thanks to a close collaboration between the core businesses of the agency: Export, Invest and Promotion France. This first edition has enabled the promotion of French innovation and the positioning of our country as a Tech Innovation leader in Europe
