9 French companies in Saudi Arabia for B to B Meeting in the health sector

From June 17 to 20, 9 French companies from the health sector visited Saudi Arabia to meet key local players. In total, more than 70 B2B meetings were organized in Jeddah and Riyadh, as well as two visits to hospitals, all with the support of the Regional Health Attaché, the Ambassador and the Consul General who agreed to receive the companies in their residence. Companies have welcomed the organization of the operation and said the visits allowed them actually to understand the importance of the market demand and the level of health infrastructure in the Kingdom.   The commercial department of the French Embassy UBIFRANCE had organized in January 2012 a Workshop in the premises of Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) for a number of French companies who participated to present their expertise to the 1 st Saudi operator. The main objective of this workshop was to promote further French technology to STC, knowing that STC already has business relationships with some of French companies.   With the presence of H.E. Mr. Bertrand BESANCENOT, Ambassador of France and H.E. Dr. Zeyad T. Aletaibi, STC Group CTO who both did the inaugural speech, the Workshop took place as follows: •             A presentation of STC and its future projects (15 representatives of STC were participating in this workshop) •             A presentation of each French companies about their expertise. Business and technical aspects were discussed •             Lunch break offered by STC •             B to B meetings with the specialized professionals of STC related to the department that matches the French company’s line of business.   In the evening, all representatives of STC who participated in this event, French companies and local private companies specialized in the Technology sector were cordially invited to a dinner reception at the Director of Ubifrance’s residence.   Our office, UBIFRANCE, was also in charge of the French companies meetings’ schedule during two days following STC Workshop: Eight local private companies, potential partners, were visited by the French companies seeking possible business partnership.

French luxury mission in Saudi Arabia

From September 16 to 19 , 6 French companies in the luxury sector traveled to Saudi Arabia to meet with key local players . In total, more than 50 B2B meetings were held in Riyadh and Jeddah , as well as visits to malls and key players in the sector. The event was supported by the Ambassador, the Consul General and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jeddah ( JCCI) which welcomed in its premises the French companies for their individual meetings program in Jeddah. Companies have welcomed the organization of the operation and said that their visits enable them to understand the characteristics and importance of the market. Next step, exhibition "Art de vivre à la française " in Riyadh in late April 2013.
