Econocom announces an agreement to acquire 100% of the BIS group and continues its targeted investments strategy with JTRS in the UK and LP Digital in France

Econocom group today announces three new external growth transactions to enhance its offering in high-growth markets and deploy its business model internationally with the acquisition of:  100% of BIS group, a multimedia integrator in the Netherlands and Belgium  a 40% stake in JTRS, an Apple and Google distributor in the UK  100% of LP Digital in France through its satellite Alter way ACQUISITION OF BIS TO BUILD A COMPREHENSIVE OFFER IN THE NETHERLANDS Econocom Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of BIS Group, a multimedia distributor and integrator on the Benelux market. This transaction is subject to the approval of the Dutch competition authorities. BIS Group posted a revenue of over 50 million euros in 2016 and employs over 220 people. This transaction will enable Econocom to bolster its position in the buoyant multimedia segment (indoor and outdoor digital signage, visio-conference rooms, smart building…), deploy its entire offering in the Netherlands and develop new cross-business line solutions in the key Benelux area. Econocom will now be present with its three business lines in the group’s five priority countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and France), which was one of the objectives of the current strategic plan. " CONTINUATION OF TARGETED INVESTMENTS IN KEY SEGMENTS Econocom has also acquired a non-controlling stake in JTRS (40%), a supplier of technology solutions in the education sector. This fast-growing company is an Apple and Google Education partner in the UK. Econocom, is already established in the UK via its Technology Management & Financing business. Lastly, Alter Way, a satellite specialising in open source and DevOps web solutions, has acquired 100% of LP Digital Agency, thereby increasing its revenue to €15 million. LP Digital Agency is specialising in digital strategy consulting for key accounts.

Mei 2016 – Voor de 5 e editie van Classical:NEXT coördineert Business France de aanwezigheid van Franse professionals op een paviljoen. De deelneming van de Franse vakmensen neemt elk jaar toe en 40 Franse labels, agenten en muziekensembles worden dit jaar verwacht op deze internationale beurs gewijd aan klassieke muziek.   Op het  paviljoen met het label ‘France at Classical:NEXT 2016’, zullen de diverse Franse vakmensen op deze markt klaar staan voor Franse en internationale professionals die met hen in contact gebracht willen worden. Dit paviljoen geeft zichtbaarheid aan de Franse professionals en hun artiesten.
