Grand re-opening of Ligne Roset at Starhill Gallery

Following a makeover, the French modern furniture house Ligne Roset has just reopened its flagship boutique at Starhill Gallery. The new space was unveiled during an event officiated by Bernard Vinson, Export Director and Ligne Roset Malaysian business partners.

Christian Dior reopened its Malaysia flagship store in Starhill Gallery  with an extravagant cocktail affair that had the town abuzz with excitement. For the past few months, the Dior boutique was closed for renovations and this had the patrons of Dior waiting with bated breath for its reopening. The new establishment was revealed with a charming décor that took its cues from the label’s flagship store in Rue Montaigne, Paris. Now, the new space features six different lounges that house a complete line of clothes and accessories taken from the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. In this posh  soirée , Malaysia’s  crème de la crème  of high society including Che Puan Winnie Low, Lee Jim Leng, SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin and Tan Sri Francis Yeoh were seen revelling in Dior’s latest fashion and lifestyle offerings. They may be well-known for their haute cuisine but the French, SUZANNA PILLAY finds out, are also very conscious about their health.Master chefs Nicolas Le Toumelin and Florent Passard, from the seven-star Muse Hotel in Saint Tropez, have the answers. Both are in town to introduce diners to French haute cuisine at the Feast Village in Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur. Le Toumelin, who is also executive chef of the Muse Hotel, says that diners in Saint Tropez are conscious about maintaining their slim figures, but they expect quality ingredients and good food that is not too rich.     Source: newstraitstimes 

Louis Vuitton opens its third boutique in The Gardens Mall

It tooks 25 years for Louis Vuitton Malaysia to venture out of Kuala Lumpur into the suburbs. From its first store at the  Hilton Kuala Lumpur to Starhill Gallery and Suria KLCC, the newly-minted boutique in The Gardens Mall, just off the affluent Bangsar neighbourhood, comes at the perfect time. Datuk Michelle Yeoh lent her celebrity power to Louis Vuitton Malaysia on the 2nd of October when she officially opened the luxurious brand’s third store in Malaysia. The new LV store is located on the first floor of The Gardens Mall in Mid Valley City . Michelle was given a grand red carpet welcome by Jean-Baptiste Debains, president of Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific, Jean-Christophe Tevenin, general manager of Louis Vuitton South East Asia, Kathy Lam, general manager of Louis Vuitton Malaysia and Robert Tan, group managing director of IGB Corporation Bhd. Also spotted exchanging pleasantries with the Reign of Assassins star were Malay pop diva, Anita Sarawak and Malaysian-born, Hong Kong-based supermodel, Danielle Graham. LV later kicked off the celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony - with Michelle taking on the lead role as the ribbon cutter.
