India hosted its first Formula 1 Grand Prix

India - 02-nov.-2011 07:48:11
India has organized its first Formula 1 Grand Prix. The race took place on the Buddh circuit which is  located on Delhi suburb. The track layout poses a challenge for drivers and engineers alike, with long straights demanding good top end power and the cambered turns giving several overtaking opportunities which need flexibility and rapid reflex from the car and engine. It is the French engine, Renault which has  indeed done a hat trick by winning the pole position and fastest lap sealing having Sébastien Vettel in the driver’s seat . Jenson Button (McLaren) has secured his second position by finishing behind the German, while the Spanish Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) took the third place. Picture copyright : IndianCarsBikes
