French Culinary Week in Israel – 15 to 20 February, 2015

The 3rd edition of the French Culinary Week in Israel will take place all over the country, from February 15th until 20th 2015. This most expected event is organized by the Embassy of France in Israel, with the support of its departments (Economic Service, Business France and the French Institutes in Israel), along with prestigious partners and sponsors.

Since its first edition in 2013, the French Culinary Week in Israel has encountered a huge success with the public and the press. Israeli and French companies involved in this event benefit from a strong exposure to the public and professionals.

For this 3rd edition, 21 most prominent French chefs will come from France and invest kitchens of the best restaurants in Israel to delight the public with French dishes jointly elaborated with Israeli Chefs.

This year, for the first time, this event will be the occasion to bring many new food products from France to the Israeli consumers. Thanks to a cooperation with MEGA Stores, no less than 50 new French products will be made available in more than 100 Mega Bair stores all across Israel. On a different scale and ambiance, Shuk Hanamal Tel Aviv will also celebrate its very first French Food Festival on Wednesday, 18th and Thursday, 19th February.

In addition, with the support of Business France office in Israel, a delegation of companies from France will come and introduce their products to the Israeli food market professionals. These companies cover a wide range of products and solution related to French Gastronomy:

  • Cerelia, leading producer of refrigerated dough for pies, quiche, and pizza that distributes its products in 20 countries.

  • Charles & Alice, Frances number one in fruits puree and ready-to-serve apple sauce for retail and food service. Charles & Alice’s Fruit Friends, which is an easy to use and healthy snack for kids, will be sold in Mega stores starting from February 2015.

  • E-OfficeNFC, dynamic French IT startup introducing e-RestaurantNFC. This innovative solution enables the translation of a menu into 18 languages via the custumers’s smartphone.

  • Nougat Chabert & Guillot, manufacturer of the traditional Montelimar nougat for retail and of nougat cream, chips, powder for the industry.

  • Parcs Saint Kerber, a fine oyster producer that today exports its fresh seashells in some of the best restaurants across the world like Burj Al Arab Dubaï and Le Dôme in Paris.
