This French company is looking for distributors selling medical devices to physiotherapists and/or hospitals.   EKS has 26 years of experience in the production and distribution of personal weighing, impedance and household scales. EKS has acquired an expertise and know-how in the field of health and well-being, which allow them to strengthen their presence and create new range of products. Eledis Innovation , sole commercial subsidiary of EuroFeedBack, has specialised in intense-pulsed light. This French manufacturer deals directly with distributors worldwide, selling to beauty centres or/and to medical centres.   RM Ingenierie has been developing softwares for medical practices and health clinics since 1988. The company designs and produces motion measurement and rehabilitation systems, starting with baropodometric platforms and 3D motion sensors. They are looking for physiotherapists, sport and rehabilitation centres.   Sport-Elec designs and distributes a range of external electric devices for muscle stimulation and body care. These devices are also used for therapeutic treatment, in particular, for analgesic indications and as assistance in functional rehabilitation. French manufacturers are highly regarded for their expertise in the field of cosmetics and dermocosmetics. UBIFRANCE Ireland has recently promoted 24 creative and exciting French brands that might soon be available on the Irish market. Different product categories were represented highlighting the strong French offer as well as the current trends. In fact, a number of French brands are focusing on natural care including Laboratoires Téane which specialises in natural pregnancy products, Clairjoie presenting a range of natural body and skin care, Dr Janka corrective products, Cosmobeauté, Evaux Laboratoires and Gamarde introducing products developed from the marine and water environment and Laboratoires Gravier and Exozen , two French organic and ecological dermocosmetics brands, specialising in high quality protecting care. Well-being products are also being developed on the French market including Lovea ’s sun care range and hygiene products, Nafha ’s innovative creams and masks as well as Sothys ’ range of high quality spa and beauty salon products. 21st Edition of the SOMMET DE L’ELEVAGE

From Wednesday 3 rd to Friday 5 th October, the SOMMET DE L’ELEVAGE, which is a major livestock farming exposition, will take place in Clermont-Ferrand, France. For the 21 st edition of this event, two cattle breed contests (Blonde d’Aquitaine and Abondance) are held during the show. More than 1,300 exhibitors will be present, along with 2,000 animals of 70 breeds, and 80,000 people will visit the SOMMET, including 3,500 international visitors. Livestock farming equipment, animal feed, veterinary products, dairy farming equipment, agricultural machinery…, find all this and more on 170,000 m² of exhibition grounds arranged by sector at the Expo Centre of Clermond-Ferrand. Moreover, around twenty tours of agro-industry livestock farms and technical sites are available for international visitors, and many conferences are held during the show with the intervention of, among others, French manufacturers, unions and the National Agronomic Research Institute, the flagship event being in 2012 the Second Annual France and Mediterranean Countries Livestock Farming Meeting. House of Fashion and Accessories to open in the heart of the French capital

Jean-Pierre Mocho, President of the French Women Clothing Federation, announced last week the opening of the “Maison du prêt-à-porter et des accessoires” – House of Fashion and Accessories, a building dedicated to this industry, providing information about the sector, brands as well as job descriptions and availabilities. Located in the heart of the capital, 5 rue de Caumartin in Paris, the House of Fashion and Accessories will come to complement the “Maison du savoir-faire et de la création” – House of Know-How and Design, activities which opened officially just a few weeks ago. On the same day as the announcement, Jean-Pierre Mocho, signed an agreement with the Spanish Federation of Outfitters to develop partnership between these two countries making them more competitive. Launch of a new regional label “Vosges fertile land”

22 textile companies based in the Vosges launched on the 14th of April a new label to guarantee the origin of their products, and the know-how of the region. These companies, all located in the 8 departments of the Vosges, will have to commit themselves to have 75% of their industrial operations realised in the Vosges massif. On the hands of the international competition, “Vosges fertile land” wants to demonstrate the dynamism and the innovation of the Vosges based companies, which represent 50% of the national production of cotton, and more than 3,000 employees. On the 30 companies based in the region, 22 have subscribed to the label and complete all the production process in the region, including weaving and  hand-knitting. Established in the Vosges for over 3 centuries, this new label put forward the expertise and know-how of the textile industry acquired over the years in the region. Furthermore, the label requires companies to be involved socially and environmentally. Playtime, the only Children Trade Show in Paris is taking place this week end!

The biannual trade show dedicated to pregnancy and children Playtime will take place this week-end from the 29th to the 31st of January in Paris. Exhibitors include toys and teddies as well as clothes and toiletry products. Despite being opened to trade only, play areas are available for children over the age of 4.
