  VEGEPOLYS : A unique force in Europe 4 000 companies – 30 000 jobs – 450 researchers – 2 500 students – 25 higher training courses Born on the territory of the Pays de la Loire, the French state gave the label "competitiveness cluster" in July 2005 to VEGEPOLYS. As a competitive cluster with worldwide reach, VEGEPOLYS is open to the world, is developing its own international network and making partnerships with other French and non-French clusters.   VEGEPOLYS is founded on a historical tradition of production in the Pays de la Loire region of France. The pedoclimatic conditions in the region and the vitality and know-how of its companies have attracted national and local government support for several decades, enabling the region to become the leader in the specialised plants field. The Pays de la Loire region is alone in Europe in bringing together in a single geographical area both private enterprise and public research and training establishment a major European force in the plant world , on which VEGEPOLYS is based.   Making businesses more competitive The creation of value does not just involve product innovations, but also all other kinds of innovation: human resources management, production processes, marketing, logistics... VEGEPOLYS’ role is to organise and provide an impetus, in order to identify common problems and lead project groups. Fruit & Vegetables Trade Meeting

The French Trade Commission - Ubifrance  in Ireland was pleased to welcome 10 French companies and 28 Irish buyers representing 21 companies at its Fruit and Vegetables Trade Meeting which took place at the Morrison Hotel on Tuesday October 5th.   The companies exhibiting included: Festival SARL, Green Produce ( www.greenproduce.fr ), Monloup SAS ( www.monloup.fr ), Pommies ( www.pommies.eu.com ), Savéol ( www.saveol.com ), Saveurs des Clos ( www.saveurs-des-clos.com ), Sola Terra, Tomwest des 4 Vents ( www.tomatejouno.com ), Val Légumes ( www.val-legumes.fr ) and Val Nantais ( www.valnantais.fr ).   The meeting took place from 12 to 6 pm and major Irish companies from the fruit and vegetable sector participated in the success of this meeting’s second edition.   Feel free to consult the catalogue of the event in the document section.   For any information or enquiries, please contact Marion DUGUEN (+353 (0)1 664 1090) or Pierre OLIVIER (+353 (0)1 667 5979).  

French Fruit & Vegetables Trade Meeting

The French Trade Commission - Ubifrance  is pleased to announce the second edition of its “Fruit & Vegetables Trade Meeting” .
