Talk-Show next generation OTT and Pay TV in Indonesia

April 2016 - #Indonesia - Jakarta - Broadcast and Telecommunication outlooks in Indonesia event organized and powered by Business France Indonesia and the Embassy of France in Indonesia.

Following the strategic bilateral agreement between Indonesia and France in Telecommunication field, a french delegation of 8 highly valuable companies (VIACCESS ORCA, MIVOC SYSTEMS, TECHNICOLOR, XGEM, PRIM X, CIRPACK, SOFRECOM, FRAUDBUSTER) participated to the Indonesian/ASEAN high tech delegation SMACS ASEAN 2016.

This french delegation lead by VIACCESS ORCA and TECHNICOLOR present their expertize in OTT and Broadcast in Mandarin Hotel Jakarta to the Indonesian Ministry of KOMINFO representative and more than 50 c-levels of the indonesian key companies in Broadcast and Telco industry.

The 3 main topics of the conference was:

- OTT: The future of TV in Indonesia
- PayTV vs VOD
- OTT competing or collaborating : Today operator’s challenges and choices

These discussions was moderate by Indonesian and French VIP Speakers from VIACCESS ORCA, TECHNICOLOR, MNC Group, TELKOM INDONESIA, EMTEK, TRANSMEDIA, ORANGE TV, FIRST MEDIA, XL AXIATA and VIVA Group.

This event has shown that Indonesian and French telecommunication and broadcast players has a lot of opportunities to develop collaborations together on the 4th world largest telecommunication market.
