The MOREL family has specialised in the selection and cultivation of cyclamen for over 90 years in the South of France. This selection has a unique character in terms of its resistance to heat.

Until 1975, Charles MOREL performed traditional selection.
Then Guy Morel (ENITH engineer) developed modern selection methods for F1 hybrids (8 to 10 years of work are needed to select and put each variety into production).

The first F1 Ch. Morel hybrids entered the market in 1989 and are now world renowned.

MOREL Diffusion is equipped with a efficient research establishment with 3 hectares of greenhouses. Its subsidiary SCEA de MONTOUREY produces the F1 hybrid seeds of its varieties. In order to have total quality control, all the research, production and harvesting are carried out in Fréjus.
Its know-how is reflected in the different tasks performed by the Company:

Research, breeding and hybridisation
production of seeds (harvesting, storage and bagging)
sowing and production of young plants
behavioural trials on new varieties
distribution, technical advice and follow-up of clients in over 40 countries
Morel's experience is a guarantee of quality recognised in the profession.

5 series of cyclamen are now produced by MOREL Diffusion.
