Rejula ARUN - 16-mai-2016 09:46:39
United Arab Emirates; May 2016 – A delegation of French designers and manufacturers are exhibiting on the French Pavilion organized by BUSINESS FRANCE at INDEX, held from 23 to 26 of May 2016. Under CREATIVE FRANCE label, they combine economic dynamism and the art of French living.   The importance of the interior design industry in the gulf market is obvious as the region is constantly evolving and changing. Today more than ever, interior design is key to reach the economic expectations and design has become a priority for doing business. French offer to be discovered from artisanal traditions in Plexiglas, mirrors, plastics or volcanic lava, constantly adapts to the purchasing and upscale and luxury decoration markets. Andrea de Rosetto, head of Art de vivre department at Business France said: “interior design market in the GCC is continuously evolving, Dubai is on its way to become the world’s top holiday destination with the World Expo 2020, and will result in a massive increase of tourism not only for the UAE, but also the neighbor countries of GCC and the Middle East”. Within the projects, French expertise has to make sure the guest’s experience is pleasant and more than ever recognized in this field. Established in 1985, AGP2 is the French leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of tableware and decorative objects in Plexiglas ®, Altuglas ® and Setacryl ®. Thanks to its expertise and the quality of its manufacturing, the company has built itself a solid reputation in thirty countries. In the Middle East, its trays, tables, chairs and trolleys can be found at retailers, in major hotels and even in the Saudi royal family. Its new GALEA Paris and GALEA Prestige collections represent French tableware, notably through its python skin trays and articles. Miroir BROT was born in Paris in 1826. It acquired its international reputation 50 years later, with the invention of the triple mirror, and then with the concept of the magnifying illuminated mirror, which is used in top hotels today. For nearly two centuries, Miroir BROT has continued the tradition of glass and brass craftsmanship. In its workshops, the best bronzesmiths and glassmakers shape a prestigious collection of mirrors: more than 1,800 references are available. Some luxury pieces are unique, others are produced in greater numbers, but all are of incomparable quality. For 30 years, GRAV’OR, the French mirror manufacturer, has been using its expertise in decorated glass to reinvent and enhance interior spaces. Its development strategy is based on the constant updating of glass working methods: engraving , sandblasting and lacquering. More relevant than ever as an ecological material, a structural or a decorative element, glass is the partner of designers and interior decorators of ever more grandiose venues. Whether used as a wall, door, mirror, wall or floor covering, its wide range of applications meet the trends of all styles. The SOLOMH family company is located in the heart of the industrial area of eastern France, where a unique expertise has covered the whole plastics industry for generations. The path of Jean-Marc Sochay is studded with original creations in high-end and luxury fashion. He now focuses on everyday objects to create a collection of covers for switches and sockets. True to his expertise, he uses a completely natural material, derived from cotton flower, cellulose acetate, with a soft and unparalleled touch. Machined, sanded and polished, it gives birth to a precious object that makes all fantasies of colors and decors possible, for a clientele that appreciates French luxury. Stonemasons from father to son, Aimé & Jean-Charles Matrone manage TRADITION PIERRE according to the family’s know-how. Located in central France, in the Auvergne’s chain of volcanoes, they work lava stone. This gray/black material, which is extremely hard and resistant to weather, was used for the construction of cathedrals. TRADITION PIERRE creates customized, rare and unique pieces of outdoor decoration: tables, basins, benches, etc. They are customizable with a premium finish: gilding, engraving, enameled lava inlay. The manufacturing process, which is entirely handmade by master craftsmen, guarantees 100% French quality. ARTASA, the French Art Design company, announces the new delivery of an artworks package at Ramada City Center!

Yousra LAHBABI - 17-avr.-2016 12:21:28
United Arab Emirates; April 2016 – Once again, ARTASA has proven its expertise and its willing to be active in the Middle East by designing the artworks of the new Ramada City Center Bahrain. Strenthening more than 10 years of experience in the hospitaly industry in the MENA market, ARTASA , the French Art Design company, has that time designed impressive paintings for the new Ramada City Center Hotel at Manama. Mr Riadh SIFAOUI, Art Director at ARTASA declared: “It has been a real pleasure to work with Mrs. Sue Henson, the interior designer of the project. The delivered artworks combine authentic and modern styles. They highlight ancestral themes : the geometric patterns usually used to decorate the Islamic buildings. There are produced with traditional know-how: the gilding and the screen printing techniques. The interesting point is also in the final rendering of the artworks: they showcase modern forms and contemporary finishing touches.” He added: “ Because we nurture the ambition of creating genuine “ Signature Interiors ”, we have designed our Islamic Art collections to offer suppleness and richness to our customers. Thanks to this, Mrs Henson has had the opportunity to customize all the artworks of the Ramada City Center Bahrain hotel . ” Mrs. Sue Henson, Design Director at Summit Interior Design said: “I was introduced to ARTASA artwork at the Dubai Hotel Show in 2014, and was determined to involve them for the new Ramada City Centre Hotel in Bahrain. We specified three different styles of artwork for the project: handmade paintings showing old mosques in a contemporary way, art pieces showing traditional geometric patterns highlighted with colors and contemporary finishes, and 3D ceramics painted and delicately gilded by hand. I particularly liked the contemporary colored Islamic gremetric patterns which we used through the corridors to the hotel guest rooms. Since we had designed three different colour pallets for the corridors to define the smoking, non smoking and executive floors, I thought it would be complexe to communicate and develop the range of colours required within each artwork to match the various schemes. However working with ARTASA was very easy, they developed the colour pallets for the islamic patterns perfectly and the communication was quick and very professional.  All types of art were finished with high quality frames with lock fixing, perfect for hospitality environments and appreciated by the operators. We will definitely be specifying ARTASA products in our future projects.” About ARTASA: ARTASA is a French company. Headquartered in Paris since its launch, the company is internationally oriented, and particularly active in the Gulf Area. To support its business development and to establish a close relationship with its clients, ARTASA has developed partnerships with local companies and representatives. The French team is focused on the development of new collections inspired by cultures and heritages. They love to design art pieces mixing different techniques: academic drawing and painting techniques, ancestral craftsmanship (e.g: screen printing, gilding), and new technologies (e.g: laser cutting, digital art). For frames and onsite installation, ARTASA is working with partners located in each market covered by ARTASA. Because ARTASA founders are art lovers, they continually look for new professional artists and craftsmen, all over the world, in order to enrich ARTASA portfolio and they are especially concerned with quality and final rendering of their art pieces.
