Artasa unveiling its newest art creations at Dubai & Jeddah Dubai: Objects of Desire Event - Jeddah: The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia 2016 –

Rejula ARUN - 30-mai-2016 08:40:02
United Arab Emirates; May 2016 – ARTASA confirms the importance of the Gulf Region and unveils its latest designs on Objects of Desire, the prestigious event organized by Commercial Interior Design Magazine in Dubai on May 4, and then at the Hotel Show Saudi Arabia in Jeddah from the 17th to the 19th of May. Mrs. Marie-Noelle DUREGNE, Co-founder and CEO of ARTASA, was really delighted to sponsor the exclusive event Objects of Desire: “This event is offering a great opportunity for high quality networking with the major interior designers of Dubai! And it gives us an amazing space to showcase our latest works to design professionals, prescribers of ARTASA offering, within a friendly and informal ambiance." Marie-Noelle also said: “It is different from The Hotel Show, the key exhibition for the Hospitality Industry in the Gulf countries. We’ve followed The Hotel Show to Saudi Arabia since its very first edition, in 2012. Exhibiting in Saudi Arabia is really helpful for our developement on this important and dynamic market.” This month of May, on the 2 events, ARTASA Paris is presenting many new art collections. They are the result of an important and regular activity of Research and Development. What’s impressive is the ability of the French Art Design Studio to enrich its mastering of techniques and craftsmanship. In particular, for two craftmanship techniques: the gilding and the screen printing have been explored with an innovative and elegant efficiency. For instance, one set of art pieces offer an interesting and original contrast between rich designs screen-printed on gold circles and the natural linen canvas on which the circles are placed. Another set of artworks develop the same concept on glass; it gives a totally different rendering. Don’t miss the sketch of Makkah, The Haram Early 20th Century screen-printed on glass and underlined with a nice handmade gilding. Visitors are also attracted by artworks showing geometric islamic shapes. One of them is made in a stainless steel sheet. Other artworks  are made of multiple layers of thick white paper! They show an impressive 3D rendering. Mr Riadh Sifaoui, Co-founder & Art Director of ARTASA explains: “We present sets of artworks illustrating one same subject: the Islamic Culture, while we are presenting a wide variety of finishing and rendering. Our idea is demonstrate our ability to design and use various carftmanship techniques and materials. Because on hotel projects, we usally have to illustrate one central theme. But while for the rooms and corridors, we have to provide competitive reproductions of “waw” effects, for the public areas we have to design and produce exclusive and signature artworks. We demonstrate in here that we can do both!”   About ARTASA: ARTASA is a French company. Headquartered in Paris since its launch, the company is internationally oriented, and particularly active in the Gulf Area. To support its business development and to establish a close relationship with its clients, ARTASA has developed partnerships with local companies and representatives. The French team is focused on the development of new collections inspired by cultures and heritages. They love to design art pieces mixing different techniques: academic drawing and painting techniques, ancestral craftsmanship (e.g: screen printing, gilding), and new technologies (e.g: laser cutting, digital art). For frames and onsite installation, ARTASA is working with partners located in each market covered by ARTASA. Because ARTASA founders are art lovers, they continually look for new professional artists and craftsmen, all over the world, in order to enrich ARTASA portfolio and they are especially concerned with quality and final rendering of their art pieces. ARTASA, the French Art Design company, announces the new delivery of an artworks package at Ramada City Center!

Yousra LAHBABI - 17-avr.-2016 12:21:28
United Arab Emirates; April 2016 – Once again, ARTASA has proven its expertise and its willing to be active in the Middle East by designing the artworks of the new Ramada City Center Bahrain. Strenthening more than 10 years of experience in the hospitaly industry in the MENA market, ARTASA , the French Art Design company, has that time designed impressive paintings for the new Ramada City Center Hotel at Manama. Mr Riadh SIFAOUI, Art Director at ARTASA declared: “It has been a real pleasure to work with Mrs. Sue Henson, the interior designer of the project. The delivered artworks combine authentic and modern styles. They highlight ancestral themes : the geometric patterns usually used to decorate the Islamic buildings. There are produced with traditional know-how: the gilding and the screen printing techniques. The interesting point is also in the final rendering of the artworks: they showcase modern forms and contemporary finishing touches.” He added: “ Because we nurture the ambition of creating genuine “ Signature Interiors ”, we have designed our Islamic Art collections to offer suppleness and richness to our customers. Thanks to this, Mrs Henson has had the opportunity to customize all the artworks of the Ramada City Center Bahrain hotel . ” Mrs. Sue Henson, Design Director at Summit Interior Design said: “I was introduced to ARTASA artwork at the Dubai Hotel Show in 2014, and was determined to involve them for the new Ramada City Centre Hotel in Bahrain. We specified three different styles of artwork for the project: handmade paintings showing old mosques in a contemporary way, art pieces showing traditional geometric patterns highlighted with colors and contemporary finishes, and 3D ceramics painted and delicately gilded by hand. I particularly liked the contemporary colored Islamic gremetric patterns which we used through the corridors to the hotel guest rooms. Since we had designed three different colour pallets for the corridors to define the smoking, non smoking and executive floors, I thought it would be complexe to communicate and develop the range of colours required within each artwork to match the various schemes. However working with ARTASA was very easy, they developed the colour pallets for the islamic patterns perfectly and the communication was quick and very professional.  All types of art were finished with high quality frames with lock fixing, perfect for hospitality environments and appreciated by the operators. We will definitely be specifying ARTASA products in our future projects.” About ARTASA: ARTASA is a French company. United Arab Emirates; August 2015 –   At the upcoming Hotel Show from 28 to 30 September 2015 in Dubai, family business Tradition Pierre will show off its products drawing on its expertise in cutting and working rare volcanic stone from the Auvergne region. The company’s pieces are equally at home as part of indoor or outdoor luxury decor. For over 30 years, Tradition Pierre has been hand-crafting Volvic stone using 100% French traditional methods. The firm, which already has a presence in Switzerland and India, is exhibiting its products and expertise for the first time at The Hotel Show. The exhibition’s regional scope has motivated the company to address this booming market and the region’s many architects, landscapers and designers. The increasing number of luxury hotels in Dubai represents a real source of growth potential for the firm. In the outdoor segment, the firm’s master craftsmen create highly expressive statues and faces carved in stone, vases, benches, pavilions, colonnades and fountains that enhance parks and gardens. In indoor decor, Tradition Pierre predominantly uses decorative wrought iron combined with enameled lava or Volvic stone. Its unique creations incorporate a wide variety of materials such as zinc, iron, copper and other metals. Some are gold-plated or encrusted with precious stones – for example, a pair of fish or a shell face. Their eclectic, first-class know-how is sure to spark great interest among the key decision makers in public and private projects and the purchasing directors for major hotel chains who will be there in force, attending the region’s leading tradeshow to explore the hotel sector’s new trends. This yearly event is a must for anyone with views on the Middle Eastern or North African markets; last year, it attracted 16,750 visitors and 560 exhibitors from 80 countries. Chosen to host the second-next World Expo in 2020, Dubai is about to initiate a host of hotel projects and the city’s hotel capacity has to double between now and then. The reason that the decoration sector is doing so well in the region at the moment is that many hotel and residential projects are reaching completion, representing a market in the Gulf thought to be worth $22b; the United Arab Emirates account for two thirds of the projects’ overall worth. Coming into such a dynamic, promising market, France’s offer stands out through the sheer diversity and upscale quality of its products. 24 companies will be on hand to provide equipment and solutions which can, as a rule, be scaled to the demand. The decoration fabrics and accessories used in covering the seating and furniture can be made to match the hotel-quality household linen. Porcelain and china manufacturers will put the best table top pieces on display, highlighting how inseparable table top is from French gastronomy. Nowadays, minibars are automated and they use very little energy. They make it possible to bill guest purchases in real-time, with a direct interface for sending billing data to hotel management software. Lighting has not be left aside. Whether concealed behind metallic fabrics or backlit wall faces, both indoor and terrace lighting fixtures can blend with both traditional and design furniture and will fit into the technical coatings, stretched walls or ceilings. Structural woodwork makes use of a few clever tricks for facilitating the day-to-day use of doors and windows accessories, enhanced with art ironwork and furniture design. Wine cellars now feature precise technology that ensures that the wine enjoys optimal ageing and conservation. The specific characteristics have been worked out on the basis of observations made in the best natural cellars. Lastly, outdoor furniture can be surrounded by water walls to enhance gardens, or by outdoor showers placed alongside the swimming pool. The Alsace Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Regional Board of Trades and Crafts (CMRA) have been conducting highly dynamic initiatives to raise awareness among new businesses of the benefits of exhibiting at the French Pavilion. All participants will be located in 4 display islands stretching along the Blue-Line, by the entrance to Hall 4 at the new International Village at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
