Business France announces France’s livestock industry participation to the 2020 edition of VIV Middle East & Africa exhibition

Business France the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy will be organizing the French pavilion at VIV MEA 2020, the trade fair devoted to livestock  wich takes place from 9 to 11 March 2020 in Abu Dhabi.   The French pavilion will be hosting 20 French companies (including 14 new exhibitors) specialized in: Animal feed & nutrition, animal health,  Equipment and innovative solutions for hatchery & laboratory and Efficient egg processing lines, packaging. The national pavilion will showcase the latest French technologies in the livestock industry and allow professionals to set up meetings with these companies on the spot.  Covering several industries such as poultry, aquaculture or dairy, the trade show attracts professional visitors mostly from the Middle East, Africa, India and Central Asia. Therefore, the main actors of the industry from all over the world will be present, and France is no exception. In 2018, France was the world’s fifth largest agri-food exporter (UN Comtrade). Being the 3rd largest poultry producer in EU (1.7 million tons in carcasse weight equivalent - CWE), 1st beef producer (1.5 million tons in CWE), 1st egg producer (14.4 billion eggs in 2017) and 2nd milk producer in EU (Eurostat), France offers expertise in all fields related to livestock.  Exporting 12.7 billion USD livestock solutions worldwide in 2019 (French customs), France is a leading cereal producer in Europe, with exports of 31.3 million tons of cereals, in growth since 2017 (corresponding to 7.4 billion USD). With nearly 300 production facilities in France, the animal feed industry is one of the top users of grain cereals. French Healthcare Expertise To Be Introduced At Arab Health 2020

With over 80 French companies - including 14 new exhibitors - France will once again be participating at the Arab Health 2020 show in Dubai from January 27 to 30 dedicated to the latest innovations in the health sector. Gathered on the French Healthcare pavilion organized by Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy, these companies will unveil their latest innovations designed to tackle today’s major challenges.   The sectors with the largest representation on the French pavilions are Diagnostic Equipment, Telemedicine Solutions, Orthopedics and Physiotherapy, Hospital Equipment and Furniture, Hospital Risk Prevention and Management and Hospital Hygiene.   The French medical sector - an international reference France is renowned worldwide for its industrial, scientific and medical expertise. The medical devices sector comprises more than 1,300 companies, 92% of which are SMEs, with sales on the French market of nearly €30 billion. The French Oil & Gas Industry on display at ADIPEC

The French pavilion, organized by Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy, will gather 44 companies, of which 10 are first time exhibitors, this year at ADIPEC trade show, the world’s 2nd largest event in the O&G sector, from November 11 to 14, 2019.    France’s exhibiting companies will represent every part of the sector, showcasing all the expertise and quality of French know-how when it comes to equipment and fittings for oil and gas, exploration, production and processing of hydrocarbons, as well as services and consulting to companies, and new technologies.   For the first time at ADIPEC, Business France is launching an award competition to showcase the latest and most advanced French technologies leading the industry into the future of Oil & Gas: sustainabilty, digitalization, efficiency, to reward and celebrate the companies that contribute to embed innovation into every part of the Oil & Gas operations. The French ecosystem is also well represented by major French companies and international leaders in the sector that have been active in the Middle East for the past 80 years and now firmly anchored in the region, such as CGG, Air Liquide and Vallourec.   This year, the French exhibitors at ADIPEC will represent a full range of activities in the sector and put the spotlight on France’s research and technological expertise.
