Gulfood Manufacturing 2018: French food and beverage processing industry to be displayed on two national pavilions!

From November 6th to 8th 2018 at Dubai World Trade Centre United Arab Emirates,  2018:  Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy is once again running two pavilions and an innovation corner during the Gulfood Manufacturing tradeshow. This regional event is dedicated to the ingredients and equipments of the food industry and will bring together nearly 50 French companies to highlight their products and know-how. For the 2nd year running, Business France unveils a French Innovation Corner to be located at the Ingredients pavilion. For this new edition, the packaging & processing machinery French Trade Association, GEPPIA, along with the French organization for intermediate food products, Club PAI and Bpifrance, the French Public Investment Bank are teaming up as partners and members of the jury. This contest is geared first and foremost to promote France’s innovations that meet the needs and trends of the Near and Middle East markets. The announcement of the winners will take place on Tuesday, November 6th at 4pm on the French pavilion located stand S1-C65. The French agri-food products and equipment perfectly match the consumers’ needs in the region. French imports to the United Arab Emirates are based mainly on beverages (28% of market share) followed by dairy products (15% of market share). • The French Ingredients Pavilion located on Sheikh Saeed 1 Stand C65 features a space of 360 square meters in partnership with the Hauts-de-France and Brittany regions. Visitors of Gulfood Manufacturing will be able to meet innovative French companies keen on showcasing the diversity of French products, from dairies and cereals, to egg products and fruit preparations. Exports of Ingredients and Intermediate Food products (IFP) from France to the UAE account for nearly 81 million euros. Visitors to Gulfood Manufacturing will be able to meet innovative French companies keen on showcasing the diversity of France’s offering, from dairy products and cereals, to ovo-products and fruit preparations. The French Pavilion for ingredients will be run in partnership with the international trade agencies (Commerce International) of the Hauts de France and Brittany regions. It features floor space of 360 m² at Sheikh Saeed Hall: S1-C76. France’s agri-food products and equipment combine quality and excellence to cater closely to the requirements of consumers in the region. The United Arab Emirates imports 85% of its agri-food products. France is the 2nd largest European supplier in the region. Despite the competitive nature of the market, the outlook for the development of trade relations with the region is bright. Exports of ingredients and food preparations from France to the UAE grew by almost 5% between 2011 and 2016, to reach 107 million USD. The quality of French products is internationally recognized, allowing it to closely meet the needs of partners in the Middle East. Dairy and bread/cake/pastry ingredients are also key components of France’s export flows.  The France Pavilion: Equipment space “Gulfood Manufacturing is attended by a high-quality visitor base and decision makers who can bring projects to fruition", Anthony Hereng, Sales Director at Claranor remarked. The pavilion devoted to French equipment manufacturers will cover 450 m² in Hall Zabeel 3: Z3-A54. Over 30 French companies will be presenting products that are not only innovative, but also well suited to the local specifications. Focus will be placed on the great diversity of France’s offering in the equipment arena. Leading companies from a wide array of industries will be at the event including water treatment, the cold chain, labeling, packaging, packing lines, sterilization, water jet cutting, extrusion and engineering, in addition to baking equipment such as ovens, molds and pancake machines.   The GEPPIA (a grouping of more than 140 manufacturers of processing and packaging equipment for the agri-food and non-food industries), will be partnering with Business France at the French Pavilion, offering visitors a 3D experience that will totally immerse them in the world of a food product in four minutes. France presents a three-pronged approach to gastronomy at Gulfood Manufacturing / Specialty Food Festival / Seafex with a firm focus on innovation- November 7-9, 2016 -

United Arab Emirates, October 3rd 2016 – Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy will introduce this year a brand new ‘Innovation Corner’ to highlight French products & packaging for the local food industry and three separate pavilions featuring Gourmet products, Ingredients and Equipment: up to 60 French companies are expected at this year’s event. France is making an emphatic statement about its leading position as the home of gastronomy, with its strong presence and unique offerings at this all-important annual trade show. Business France is spearheading France’s participation at Gulfood, across three different pavilions.  Like every other year so far 29 years, the French offering at the event will cement its position as one of the finest sources of quality food and related products. Most of the brands that will be participating are well-suited for entering this market – whether it is being halal-friendly in the case of ingredients, or equipment that will be well-suited to the booming food industry production in UAE Middle East region.  And for the first time this year, there will be a special ‘French Innovation Corner’ (located in the Ingredients Pavilion) where the most unusual and innovative new products will be showcased. United Arab Emirates; October 2015–   Sixty French companies will be spread over 3 French Pavilions organized by Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy. This event will take part from the 27 th to the 29 th October 2015 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.   The French offer will be divided into three sections: Gourmet foods and drinks (Hall 6) with 14 French companies, Ingredients (Sheikh Saeed Hall 1) with 14 French companies and 32 French companies at the Gulfood Manufacturing (Hall2). United Arab Emirates; November 2014 – With the new region’s biggest-ever trade show launched GULFOOD Manufacturing - dedicated to ingredients, processing and packaging equipment, co-located with the Autumn Food Shows - the French presence, renowned for its expertise, quality of products and equipment is highly expected.  Fifty French companies will be spread over 3 French Pavilions and will take part in this outstanding event from the 9th to the 11th November 2014 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.   The Dubai World Trade Centre is organizing the first edition of Gulfood Manufacturing – the region’s biggest-ever trade show launched to highlight food logistics, processing, packaging and ingredients sectors.
