ADIPEC 2010, the must-attend event in the oil and gas sector

The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition (ADIPEC 2010) will attract more than 1500 companies from 59 countries and the French Pavilion, organised by Ubifrance, with 30 companies exhibiting this year is set to be one of the largest in the November 1-4 event.Over 40 000 delegates from 89 countries are expected to come to the four day show and conference, illustrating that ADIPEC 2010 has become the must-attend event in the oil and gas sector. The oil and gas show to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is seen as the third biggest industry event for the global energy industry. ADIPEC provides opportunities to network, promote and discuss industry views and best practice, showcase new technology. The exhibition is also renowned to be a place for large contracts to be concluded. It is anticipated to generate almost 800 millions euros in industry deals this year. 68% of respondents likely to attend ADIPEC 2010 stated in a survey conducted by the event’s organizer, that they would be looking for suppliers. Middle East region is boasting two thirds of the world’s oil and gas reserves and despite the global slowdown in project activity, it remains one of the most dynamic market worldwide, with more than 200 billions USD investments scheduled in the sector for the next five years.

  ADIPEC 2010: Nearly 30 exhibitors in the France pavilion Abu Dhabi – from 1 st to 4 th November 2010   Nearly thirty French companies will take part in the ADIPEC 2010 trade fair, the flagship event in the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East. They will be hosted in the France pavilion organized by UBIFRANCE, the French agency for international business development.   The French petroleum services sector ranks 3 rd worldwide and includes multinational players. Massively oriented towards export markets, the French petroleum and gas services industry generates over 90% of its sales revenue abroad. It relies on the existence of world-ranking oil and gas companies having their decision-making centres in France. Alongside these benchmark businesses, a large number of SMEs often benefit from exclusive expertise in deep-sea drilling.   Since its first edition in 1984, the ADIPEC show, dedicated to oil and gas equipment, has enjoyed sharp growth.
