SCEA VIGNOBLES DES PASQUIERS

Our family estate was created in 1935 by our grandfather, we are the third generation working on the estate. We are located in the Rhône valley, in Provence, about 40 kms from Avignon. The vineyard covers 100 hectares, over the last years we have restructured the vines and we have planted Syrah (for the colour and the aromas) and mourvèdre (for the tannic structure). On average the vines are 30 years old and we still have 60-years old vines. Our vinery has a capacity of 8 000 hectoliters for the vinification and the maturing and our vinification is traditional : the stems are always removed and the vinification is during 8 to 24 days depending on the wines. We produce Gigondas cru, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Vin de Pays de Vaucluse, our wines are regularly rewarded in several national competitions. Last year we have done an international advertising campaign with Ubifrance. We have formed with domaine la Carette (Côtes du Ventoux) and domaine Saint Laurent Châteauneuf du Pape) a company called GIE LAUMARQUIER to propose a more complete range.
