SCAV LES VINS ROQUEBRUN

Established since 1968, Roquebrun's wine cellars are situated in the Haut Languedoc National Park, 30km north of Béziers and between the two regio-nal capitals of Montpellier and Toulouse. The vineyards are spread over an area of 650ha of south facing, schistose hillsides.
You will find many noble types of vine in Roquebrun: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan, Roussanne, Viognier and white Grenache. Quality levels have been monitored for many years. Strict specifications mean that pruning methods, supports and the use of pesticides, as well as productivity itself are carefully controlled.
A great wine is first and foremost a high quality grape.
We produce wine classified 'Appellation d'Origine Controlée (AOC) Saint Chinian, Coteaux du Languedoc and, since 2004, 'Appellation Saint Chinian – Roquebrun' which will further help in the reco-gnition of the uniqueness of our wine. AOC is the highest French wine classification. It indicates that wine meets strict requirements concerning the vineyard of origin, the type of vine grown, the me-thod of production, and the volume of alcohol present.
