AUTOMATIC SEA VISION® (ASV) develops innovative software solutions dedicated to automate the watch to cover the needs of maritime security and safety for any type and size of ships as well as for harbour protection, critical infrastructures and sea borders surveillance.
With a series of original and patented software, Automatic Sea Vision expands the capacities of human watch in naval environment: at sea, to detect (terrorism, piracy, trafficking, illegal migration,…), prevent collisions or improve search and rescue, ashore for permanent surveillance (intrusion, malicious acts,…), or anywhere sea monitoring, protection and warning notice is needed.
Based on a true technological breakthrough in image processing and video analytics applied to naval environment, Automatic Sea Vision has designed and developed the first fully automatic detection and alert software for maritime surveillance (called ASV-DET). The ASV-DET software need to be combined with an adequate thermal/infrared camera network to detect automatically any boat or floating object seen by the camera, even in total darkness, and reports pre-established alerts on detected objects. Uniqueness and innovation reside in a very specific series of algorithms, entirely applied to maritime environment, and the various capacities of detections as presented after. The ASV software suite also includes a series of additional software designed to provide:
- an additional and original identification capacity using the infrared cameras in conjunction with the existing means of surveillance (Radar, Automatic Information System,....),
- a video recording and replay capacity,
- a user interface,
- a digital image stabilisation capacity,
- a link with on board navigation instruments or external non lethal counter measures (projector, ...).
The products developed by ASV are available in various forms (software, library (API), SDK) to allow integrators the building or the upgrade of their own maritime surveillance system.
