MGC International, a family businessl launched by Marcel COHEN in 1981 has become a key player in all segments of the hair, body care and cosmetics industries.
MGC pursues a goal and an ambition since its inception: to be self-sufficient in the manufacturing of its own product lines such as shampoo, creams, lipsticks, serums and more sophisticated products such as nail polish remover or hair oxidizer.
MGC distributes all the major brands of the professional hair and ethnic sectors, in collaboration with global companies such as L’Oréal, Henckel, Procter&Gamble, Wella… Its catalogue consists of over 200 cosmetic brands (including over twenty exclusive brands), and over 1,000 products.
MGC operates in 84 countries, mostly in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa, in Europe and in the Middle East. From the outset, MGC has built solid partnerships with local dealers and implements its sales strategy locally.
MGC has close relations with its suppliers which ensures preferential terms, exclusive contracts or exclusive distribution rights in some territories. MGC thus operates in many countries with its own brands and several global brands.
