H CUVELIER ET FILS

Cuvelier & Fils was established in 1804, so we now have over 200 years’ experience in the distribution of fine wines from Bordeaux. Our double expertise is derived from our double identity as we are both vintners and wine merchants. The Cuvelier family first settled in the heart of Medoc in 1903 when we purchased Chateau Le Crock. This cru bourgeois estate has a 32 hectares’ vineyard planted on the same terroir as its prestigious neighbors called Chateau Cos d’Estournel and Chateau Montrose. Then in 1920 we purchased Chateau Leoville Poyferre, a second classified growth in Saint Julien and Chateau Moulin Riche. These two splendid estates provide Cuvelier & Fils with a strong guarantee of our expertise and very good knowledge of the production of fine wines. Cuvelier & Fils is now specialized in the distribution of fine wines in order to meet the expectations of our demanding customers from all over the world. Thanks to our long history and renowned experience, we benefit from yearly allocations for most Bordeaux’s classified growths.
