Cave Vinicole Ingersheim

Our Winery the Cave Jean GEILER was created in 1926, we are located in Ingersheim nearby Colmar in Alsace – east of France -. Our vineyards extend about 390 hectares around the town of Ingersheim, in the heart of Alsace, in one of the driest region of France.

Our vineyards are favoured by both an exceptional climate as well as a rich patchwork of soils and subsoils. A real asset which together with our experience and the skills of our winemaker enables us to produce a wide range of Alsace Wines and Crémants of Alsace – sparkling-. Among our full range of Alsace wines including the 7 varietals and some specialities, we also produce a range of several single vineyards/specific plots called “Collection TERROIRS” and a fantastic range of Alsace Grands Crus (10 different “terroirs”) as well as late-harvest and “Sélection de Grains Nobles” wines (noble-rotted sweet wines/ Botrytized wines).

In total we are producing about 4 millions bottles per year – among which almost 1 million bottles of sparkling Crémant d’Alsace, and we do export 25% of our production mainly in Europe.

Our experience, the quality and the competitiveness of our wines are some of the assets of the Jean GEILER
Winery. Our Wines and Crémants of Alsace are often winning awards at different competitions
in France and abroad such as Guide Hachette, Vinalies Internationales, Decanter, International Wine Challenge, Mondial de Bruxelles etc. Jean Geiler was one of the most awarded winery in 2012.
