CASE STUDY CORPORATE & INVESTMENT BANKING
SAN Sentinel was selected among other solutions to take the tests. Measured to its competitors, SAN Sentinel proved to be the best fitted to cover the needs of the Bank. After several months of studies, the Bank chose Sentinel Navigator software as it had answered all its requirements.
To this day, the use of Sentinel Navigator has expanded to the datacentres of London, Paris, Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. It covers all the EMC and Netapp arrays and audits the entire storage infrastructure on a daily basis.
Thanks to Sentinel Navigator the Bank can now audit all of its arrays within a few minutes using a unified collector, which runs on a simple virtual administration server.

As part of its strategy to simplify SRM tools, SAN SENTINEL offers to integrate the information provided by virtual servers directly into its Cloud/SaaS software, Sentinel Navigator, through the “Virtual Sentinel” API. This integration of VMware does not require additional set-ups and allows clients to determine within seconds the storage capacity necessary to roll out virtual servers as well as the capacity available for their roll-outs.
