The French Vossloh Cogifer group is a world leader in track equipment (switches) and signalling/safety equipment, for all rail networks: railways, metro lines, tramways.

Creating jobs:
The workforce in France and around the world totals around 2500 people. In France, Vossloh Cogifer has 5 plants, plus its head offices, employing about 600 people. The company has been able to protect jobs, and start a phase of significant growth, despite the crisis in Libya, with the suspension of the contracts awarded to French railway companies there, totalling around 250 million euros.

An innovating company:
Vossloh Cogifer has just laid the foundations of a research and development technology centre in Alsace, a multi-million euro investment. Vossloh Cogifer is a company especially innovative in the rail infrastructure field. It is also a founder member of the IRT [French technology research institute] setting up Railenium.

Major exporter:
Vossloh Cogifer has a turnover of around 500 M€, a third of which comes from French plants, exporting 85% to 90% of their production to all 5 continents.

Vossloh Cogifer has invented and developed new technologies, especially track equipment for very high speed lines operating at over 550 km/hr, and has a huge research and development capability. This capability goes along with a prime industrial and logistical base, both national (Reichshoffen (67) and Fère-en-Tardenois (02) production units) as well as internationally, through its many subsidiaries (27 companies in total spread throughout the world, on every continent).

a team of 2300 railway specialists,
a total industrial capacity of several hundred thousand square metres of plant, with ultra-modern factories,
significant R&D and engineering facilities, developing and adapting new technologies through new patents,
