For the 5th time and the 3rd consecutive year, UBIFRANCE, the French Trade Commission) organized the IT Healthcare Trade Mission in Sydney & Singapore from the 16th to 20th of September 2013. For this trade mission, 7 companies relied upon UBIFRANCE’s teams with the aim to connect and meet with partners and potential customers locally.
Covering various field such as engineering, medical imaging or e-health, the French companies had the opportunity to meet distributors, integrators, hospitals as well as health funds, international companies, consulting companies and medical practices.
Beside individual B2B meetings, UBIFRANCE organized, in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a morning business seminar where the French companies were introduced to the Australian healthcare market essentials and specifics by NSW Health, MTAA, PwC and UBIFRANCE senior executives. To complete their journey “down under”, French companies enjoyed a networking cocktail at NICTA’ headquarters and met with more than 50 attendees from the Australian healthcare industry and the French-Australian business community.
Furthermore, during their Singapore leg, the SMEs had the chance to present their products and solutions in front of more than 70 healthcare professionals followed by a complete day of meetings and networking. During these presentation topics such as the scientific collaborations with France’s CNRS, professional training (Healthcare Management Institute with ESSEC) has been naturally tackled. Ultimately the delegation had the chance to visit the Tan Tock Seng Hospital, always seeking to integrate the latest innovative solutions.
